Commercial Storage, Montrose, Scotland

CURRENT PROJECT

Finding the Ideal Customer for a Large-Scale Commercial Storage Company in Montrose, Scotland.

Montrose Port in Northern Scotland has recently been chosen as the operations and maintenance base for a planned £5.2m offshore wind farm project.

The large scale project which is subject to the granting of a long-term energy contract by the UK government would see the construction of a pontoon for crew transfer vessels, dockside cranes, warehouses, offices and upwards of 100 turbines located about 15km off the Angus coast.

A long-term project of such magnitude and size has a lot of potential within the storage sector, however, how one positions itself in the market from the onset, will have 'make or break' implications.
